A Frisbee Freestyler from age 15, I discovered DG in the early 1990's, at Tuscawilla DGC in Daytona. A friend got me a few discs from the local pro there (Gary) & I tried it like, once... but because I never knew how to play,or what the discs did (or COULD) do, I found it kinda boring. Fast forward 20 years later -and my dear friend Susea got me back into DG in 2010 by introducing me to Reed Canal DGC. I got some tips from Gary up at Tuscawilla (he's a great teacher) & I soon found lots of other people in the area that also knew how to play DG for real. I casually ran into local pro Jamie Ruane on the course at Reed Canal, & in 5 minutes he taught me how to straddle putt. That's about the time the addiction really took hold.
