What do I think? I think you sound like one of the whiny bitches that always seem to be clogging up the course.
You want to quit the game completely because of a couple of bad courses? Did you not check other reviews of the course before you went out there, to maybe see what to expect...
No sweat. Not my fault they put it that close. :) I went out and played the championship 18 hole in Modesto a few days ago and shot a 1 under. That ought to get me past the grade. Happened to get my first "turkey" or "hat-trick" later on that day on the shorter front 9. Truth be told, I...
Not to brag but..... when it comes to anything thats athletic/game related I can pick it up pretty quick. As for the disc, Ive managed a 3 under and 4 under on the two 9 hole courses that Ive thrown the most. I got my first ACE 5 months in, after ringing the chains 3 times and metalling 3-4...
Im not bragging but Im 41 and could throw 36 holes a day indefinately. Ive been an endurance athlete since my 20's, so walking and throwing arent much exercise for me. These days I do alot of distance-backpacking (20 miles a day with a 30-35 lb pack) and I dont take rest days. About 8 months...
For my last round of 2011, I was out at Moraga Commons here in California. I ended up throwing PAR which is 2 strokes better than Ive ever thrown there. 2 birdies, 2 bogeys and 5 pars. Great way to end the year!

For 2012....
1) Play in my first tourney.
2) Get my drive up to the 350-400 foot range (right now Im throwing 275-300 feet).
3) Better putting percentage at 24' and beyond.
4) More involved in the disc golf organizations.
5) Test drive some new discs.
My last tree incident had me at the top and in the middle of a 30 footer where the branches get real thin. I climbed it right up untill the tree just started to bend over then used a stick to clear it. I really thought that tree was gonna break at one point, and send me plummetting, but I...
Lost a Surge SS FLX on 6A out at Moraga Commons a few weeks ago. The box is at the top of the hill and my shot kept sliding off to the right, untill disappearing into the forest of poison oak. I really really miss that disc.

3 water fountains along the course.
Variety of options.
Not too busy of a course.
Great for beginners.
Some overthrows could be bad. (ie walkers, parked cars)
Holes are short.
Lots of walkers.
Busy park.
A few of the tee-signs point in the wrong direction...
Already posted this in a thread, but just to make it official...
Got my first ace on 12-7-11. It was on a short 120 footer up a small hill. Ive rung these chains twice, metaled 3 times, and bounced off the center pole once all in the last 2 months. Im glad to get that first one checked off...
