hey paul how was last weekend man? sorry I didnt make it up. Too much driving lately man. Did you enjoy the brews yet? So I'm playing outlaw john lloyds private course sunday...pretty exciting. Any big plans for the weekend?
The only map I could find for Zobel Park

Forgot to mention length of the course, it's long. Long tees are well over 6000' for 18, probably pushing 7000'.
It started in late 2008 with a ton of work being done last year (clearing fairways, especially buckthorn) and the tee pads getting poured this summer. Pat Blake did the designing & it opened about a month ago and I haven't really played it enough to compare it to anything yet. I can't find a list of distances or map of hole locations yet.

It has 18 holes with multiple pin positions & tees per hole. Most are wooded and elevation comes into play quite a bit, with the final hole being down a big sledding hill (which I believe has lights on it too). I'm not the best at descriptions, but I highly recommend going to play it. I'll try to keep looking for a rough hole layout online.
    What's up Paul!

Wish we had a chance to meet up at some point last weekend; Eric was insistent that we check out some courses out there. Winter Park was sweet, and Silver Creek was fun too. Definitely worth the trip, no doubt.

I will be back up there at some point, guaranteed. I missed out on the chance to play the Winter Park golds, and I want to check out your neck of the woods as well. Too many courses, too little time...

It might be a while, but I will hit you up for sure. I need to redeem myself, especially in front of Smacktalking Steve, heh heh.
Yeah man, I am definitely going to be torn between the two groups up there... big time. If Eric (hognose) comes along too, I won't know what to do!!!

I take it that Winter Park is not in your guys' plans? I am most likely going to be tagging along with Eric (WCG) the whole time, but I'm sure we won't be playing in Kewaunee only both days. Anyway, you've got my cell #, give me a call anytime!
Oh man... I am hurting all over. I did not expect those courses to be so brutal.

Thanks for letting me tag along; I had a blast outside of some poor shots. Hope I didn't hold you guys up too much :)
Hey sir Tallpaul! Just a little heads up, A few of us are headn up to Winter Park DGC on Halloween weekend (Saturday). If you got some free time for some casual rounds, lemme know!
hey paul, things have been really busy, haven't really got much time to get to the course, specailly since the one that is close to me talks about 3 hours to complete but i did play it last thursday and as winter makes its press on the west coast i have a feeling i will be tossing quite a bit more... Yea, haven't gotten to add ne of the new courses i've played kinda just been working my butt of and just getting use to the surroundings.. So, how are things with you?? Good i hope??? i like things out here in california but have a really good feeling that i won't stay out here, its a lil' too far from my family and i am already quite homesick but we shall she how the time treats me... take care buddy...
When is the Winter Park meetup? Did the Flip City meetup already happen? I wanted in on that -- ****!
Didn't mean to make Grignon look like a pitch and putt (definitely not from the long pads... Holes 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, and 17 all get a little freaky)! I had an ace-less 2009 so I've been on a mission. I'd like to have 10 in '10, three more to go. By the way, what do you think of the change they made to hole 6 at Grignon? That island of trees added a nice little challenge to the hole, R.I.P.
yeah he lives right behind me, lol. he's got nice distance but i can putt circles around him  i'm out there usually, but i haven't had a bag for a few days. just got my new phenix bag, i'll be trying it out tomorrow
tallpaul, Thanks for the Invite. But, that weekend I'm helping at the "Indiana Outdoor Experience" at Fort Ben here in Indy. Last year we had just over 700 people go thru our 3 hole course. This year they gave us more land so it's looking like a 9 holer. We'll get a round in sooner or later!?
we were thinking wednesday.... oh and u are meetin up with terry at the end of august... might be able to swing that...
HEY PAUL!!!!!! we really need to Disc sometime soon.. think me and a buddy are gonna head out and disc some where south maybe we will do a marshfeild run or the oshgosh/ripon courses?????
yo paul, whats up man??? not to much here still try to recooperate my damn finger..... i would really like to make it to flip but with my finger all banged up still i doubt it........ i can't forehand still cuz it hurts to much i have started to putt back hand so i am starting to come around but its still not quite ready for the high caliber courses yet sorry man.. but if u wanna do like a day run around WI we could do that...
Hey tallpaul, just a heads up: Fallasburg Park in Lowell, Mi. (just outside of Grand Rapids).

As good if not better than Flip. Definitely much more challenging. A newer course still getting worn in, sans signs still but due to get them. Definitely something you'd want to hit up if you're ever in the area. :)
    Nick
    Yo tallpaul!!!

Had a blast meeting you and Shuie up at Flip City! Thanks for being so accommodating. I'll have to work on my game so next time I can take down the CTP and the round $$$. ;)

We'll have to do it all again soon (@ Flip or elsewhere.) :)

    Nick
