    Round notes:Scored out of my mind considering how poor I was off the tee. Two very good long approach shots saved me a couple strokes. Beautiful Autumn conditions although the trees are still green. Despite my driving difficulties I did manage to put a hook on a few shots and I think I figured out what I'm doing wrong.

    Round notes:I was concerned about playing the unknown heavily wooded holes but I came out of there +1 and then fell apart down the stretch on the holes I'm familiar with. The wind was tough but I think it comes down to the 9 hole factor. It's hard to hold it together for 18. I was one over after 12 and played the final 6 five over. And I hate the tee boxes at this new 18. They had eight perfectly good tee pads and chose to only use one of them. Preposterous.
