A squid eating dough in a polyethylene bag is fast and bulbous, got me?

    Other info

My philosophy of Course Ratings: Sorry, I don't have an objective course review strategy. I play 'em and wing it.

My background is in parks and recreation, so I tend to have a better handle on public courses and how they fit into an overall park design. I'm nit-picky on conflicts with other park uses and play-ability (flow) as opposed to someone who is just evaluating the shots.

I'm not a very good golfer so things like the challenge level of a top-tier course isn't really my strong suit. I can look at things like variety of shot types, variety of distances, etc., but I'm not really sure for example if a hole is a par 4 or a par 5. Like I said, I just take my perception and wing it.

As a result, I really don't review courses I consider to be a "3" or over after I play them once. Better courses I like to play 3-4 times in a variety of weather to get a better feel for the design.

yeah I saw your post. I am just getting back into rocs. it was funny to see hoey resurrect the naturally athletic thread.
eh I think those wheels will get reinvented over here. Most guys still reference the beto video and the "rail" and a few other things. and that MikeC guy is slowly lisping his way to form jedi master...
Yup, the last Z Comet I had was a 166. And it was flippy.

I had great success with a Stratus the last time out. I think a beefy Comet and an inherently flippy Stratus should cover a lot of shots.
You should really try and come hang out with the Outlaw gang Sept. 12-14. We'll be camping at John Lloyd's place. Ask about addy in Kug and I'll hook you up.
It has, yes. It's actually lost its stability pretty quickly so I would say to stick with it. I don't know if it'll get to Sonic flippy though. I'm pretty close to putting my DX back in the bag because it's taken a lot more punishment and is still stable.
Hey, I've got this sweeet plastic you should feel sometime and tell me what you think...omg, it's super chalky rubber tacky ce feely goodness. :|
Sorry, I couldn't resist. I think you're going to be really happy when you get yours. I think I remember you saying you've never thrown a Polecat (or something to that effect). I do think you'll be impressed. I can't wait to hear your first impressions.
Oh my god!! Oh my god!! Oh my god!! I am completely smitten.

There's a slight loss in glide compared to DX, but they're far from the glideless bricks known as Champ Birdies. The plastic is pretty soft and flexible without really being gummy. On the tee, the plastic feels AMAZING!!!! :p
I haven't yet, no. I didn't have time tonight unfortunately. It's looking like Thursday might be the earliest. I haven't heard a whole lot about them either so I'm pumped to see how they fly.
