Enjoy it. I played a round at a short tight course yesterday and threw my wizard for drives and putts, and aprroached with my Voodoo. By about the 5th hole I could feel an improvement in my release and form. I was getting my putters to about 175' -200' by the end. Dead straight with very little fade. Try it for practice. It really makes a difference. I just missed a 227' downhill ace. Dam I was close. Probably 2 feet over and I had a Wizard ACE!!
Yes, it was a good round today. Even if we both weren't on our games. Long position would definitely be better on that course. Cool design and holes. Next time the weather will be better and maybe we can hit a couple of the courses down there. Let me know if you ever head this way.
Anybody that makes a crack about Gore inventing Global Warming can be on my friends list. I'll send you a message next tim eI can play down in the Charlotte area. I might be able to get down there sometime between X-Mas and New Years.
Think 700 foot double dogleg holes with 10 -15 foot wide fairways and thick underbrush. Hole 5. Natural tees for now, and was fairly straight forward to navigate. It was a bit muddy in spots, but it's been wet lately. I wasn't too hip on doing as run-up on many of the holes, tees included. There's only 3 or 4 openish holes, and most of those have fairly tight OB or mandos. The park itself is pretty cool. I played softball there for a couple years, and never had any issues with anything.
Dude, played Nevin this morning, kicked my butt. Crazy hard course. I shoulda called you. Probably gonna play Rankin tomorrow afternoon, around 3:30 or 4. Call me if you can make it down.
Hey Chain-Addicted, it was really good to play with you today. Thanks for taking us around Bracketts. I'll be coming back that direction for sure. I'll let you know when.
