So, how did you play today? Part II

I won my division (FA55) in a C-tier event--WGE by 1 stroke to the same person who beat me in a playoff of last week. She is so awesome and I hope for many close rematches in the future. Don't laugh, but I shot my first 800+ rated round, and I'm excited about it.

Review by Naenae in course Kamp Dels DGC

2.00 star(s) --Discatcher Pros are in great shape --Crowds will not be a problem --Grass tees --Mostly straight, wide open Tucked away behind a large RV park, Kamp Dels DGC is basically a hayfield with baskets. Not that this is all bad--a hayfield with baskets is already a vastly improved hayfield. I can...

    DGCR Meet up - Minnesota 2024 - July 13th/14th

I've got in on my schedule, but I'm not planning on camping. I'll be up there one of the two days, and will probably be available the early part of the next week for rounds in the TC area.

So, how did you play today? Part II

Finished for a tied first in the FA40+, then lost in a playoff. It was only my third tournament and I'm still getting the feel for competitive play. I know I played both smarter and better this week, but I'm going to have to get more reliable of the tee. Scrambling for 36 holes is exhausting.

Wow. You got three solid misogynistic tropes into less than two lines. Strong work.

    2024 dynamic discs open

I hope you’ve watched enough of their coverage to get their sarcasm and entertainment-focused commentary. I think what Erica was conveying at the time (over the entire back nine) was the excitement of seeing a newcomer challenging for the podium, and the tragedy that it came down to a matter of...

Any love for the Ridge Roller R1

The R3 is fantastic, and as a tall girl, I love the seat height on the R3, but the different in weight (4 pounds from the cart itself + a probable insane quantity of extra weight from having so much more space to put stuff) makes me think that the R1 might be worth sitting 3 inches lower. Has...

Review by Naenae in course Selfoss

3.50 star(s) Well polished, except for that Icelandic turf —Great signage —18 holes in an area where that is not the norm —Tees could be a little wider —Mismatched baskets (Mach III, Discmania “DiscGolfPark”), but they all catch fine —Next tee sometimes hard to find despite arrows, GPS —Some throws go over...

3.00 star(s) Steamy! —Disc Golf Park (Discmania) baskets are new —Geothermally active valley with plenty of other things to do (golf, steam bathing, restaurants) —Tee areas are worn dirt with tree roots interspersed. —At least two holes (6, 7) seemed to lack tee box signs. —Quite short I am happy to provide...
