They just went up for sale, but the are supposed to be SUPER beefy. I'm pumped to give this a shot, i really dig Tachyons but it needed a premium plastic.
I love a frontline-x mortar for this slot. The mortar is a beadless gator, so for me it flicks cleaner, and the frontline-x is a gummy star. The frontline-x came out flat also(which I prefer for sidearms) and the plastic isn't too gummy to flick, but gummy enough not to get wild skips.
for those of you who prefer stiffer putters but still like the omega mold(like me) they are about to be doing a production run in XT like plastic called ET. So far the testers have given great feedback on them, saying they are a little stiffer and slicker than XT, I'm excited to hopefully get...
eh not much, if its the old run maybe $15-$20. the new ones(sparkle) $10-$15. The brinsters are worth the most of the www molds about $20, a little more if glow.
I was innitailly bummed when i found out these qs are L mold, but they are wonderful! Fly really similar to 1.6/1.7 exp1s. Maybe a little less HSS, but they fly like a dream.
I
would love to see a X mold come out for a more overstable option though(so i can kick out the firebird), and it's...
I have to dissagree with it flying the same, big bead anyways. I hated the xt. To me they were slower and had a weird flight compared to my KCs. Almost like they rose up and dumped. I was missing everything short and left on longer putts. Not a fan.
The Veteran(speed 7) and QJLS(also speed 7) kicked out my need for speed 10s. I can throw them as far with more control. Anything I can't reach with them(380+) I feel comfortable throwing a scorpius(speed 12).
