Good Course, But Not Great
-Has a nice mix of open shots and more technical wooded shots...
-Great baskets and nice tees...
-Very well designed considering the property and space available...
-If you miss your line of the shots on the escarpment, your round can turn ugly with lots of elevation...
Again, this is drifting from original post...
I had a co-worker 3 years ago who is transgender...I heard about their struggles often...this affected me personally...and I empathized with their struggles...but understanding some ones struggles and believing that they are right in their belief is...
OK, I don't want to drift from the original message, so I'll just say that my opinion (in some form, though not exact for sure) does matter because it led to a majority of the players in the survey having a similar (though perhaps, not the same) belief in their responses which led to the change...
I Don't Get It
I saw a post deleted that I agreed with, I don't get it...
This opinion might be disagreed with but I have no idea why it is so awful it would be deleted...
Sex is biological, you are either born a male or a female (99.9% of the time), is that controversial?
It is easy to see...

Nice Little Recreational Course
This is an updated review now that there are 18 holes....
- Nice mix of park golf and woods golf...though no holes are over 300 feet, you still have some technical lines...
- You can play a solo round in under an hour...
- Now has concrete tees...
- Quite a dry...

Epic Woods Golf
= When it opened a week ago, it was a fully finished course, tee signs, boulders by every tee, new prodigy baskets, beautiful course map, etc.
- 14 holes in the woods, with scattered mature trees in the beautifully cut and cleared fairways
- Nice bathrooms on the way to first tee...
2021
Several of the usual places including...
Pittsburgh (to play)
Smuggler's Notch (to play in June and to watch GMC in September)
A few new ones...
Lake Pinchot State Park
Quebec City (If Canada Opens)
Toronto Island (If Canada Opens)
I am psyched for both a 4th major and the format...it is like the college football season where everyone plays and the 4 best are seeded similarly in elimination matches...
And I love that they've chosen this course, a worthy starting place that is true disc golf...
In fact, I'm already...
Best 5
I rank based on both the quality of the course as well as fun factor playing...only one change this year, the course on the island is new...it may be the most enjoyable (but not the best) course I've played...I hit Idlewild this year as well for the first time but it just misses the top...

Houck Magic
So, I was going to World's last year to spectate...flying to Peoria from Buffalo, NY...I noticed that it was only a 4 hour drive to the number 1 rated course on dgcr...so, I flew in 2 days before World's to drive to Missouri and hit this place twice...
It ended up being in the...

There Once Was a Course on Nantucket
I just arrived today in Nantucket for 3 nights, first time ever at age 56...within an hour I was on this course...
- Extremely well maintained, nicely mowed and no trash and I mean none...
- Two nice tees on every hole except #7...
- You can tell in places...
I had reservations at Smugglers Notch State Park to camp and watch every round, since March...I was there at World's I'm 2018 and last year in 2019...love that place, in my humble opinion, the best disc golf facility in the US...two championship courses that couldn't be more different, beautiful...
What?
3 is never, ever....
4 is one of 182 players yesterday....
Scoring average first round of 6.71....it is the most beastly hole on tour (especially being a part 5, which are generally soft)...
But after spectating World's last year, spent 3 rounds udisc scoring groups on Northwood, 2...
Vermont
Vermont is the same as Massachusetts currently, only they have it broken down by county rates, not state rates. Most New York counties are allowed to enter Vermont but not my county (Erie County, Buffalo area).
So GMC is looking doubtful I think.
My big fall trip has Magic Mountain on my schedule, right at the start of the 17 night trip.
From Buffalo, NY...I'm spending 3 nights at Gifford Woods State Park near Killington and plan on hitting Chester DGC and Magic Mountain on Saturday 8/22. Then Base Camp Outfitter and Pittsford the next...
