My goal this year is to play more. If I can play more, I can improve. If I can't play more, I won't improve.

Play in at least 6 tournaments
Increase driving distance to up to 400'
Improve form
Get better at putting outside the circle
Keep working with forehand drives
Stop getting so much new plastic.. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

-Lost 28 lbs so far
-Not there yet
-nope
-still working them
-bought 8 new westside discs this past week :doh:

3 Goals
CONSISTENCY!!!!!
I had alot of up and down from round to round in 2012. I want to focus on high percentage shots during tournaments and not push the envelope constantly. Keep my focus and maintain the fun.

Win an ADV Tournament any tier.

Place top 3 at one of the 4-5 A-tier Tournaments I plan on playing this year.

Haven't had a chance yet for these but want to add one recent goal. I want one every disc out there (preferably of every plastic). Might take longer than a year but I think it would be cool.

goals for me

1. Have fun
2. Improve my putting
3. Win an advanced A Tier, (won a B and C Tier this year first advanced wins ever!)
4. Get my rating to 960
5. Meet new golfers with the same passion for competetion that I have
6. Play every course I can in NC, definitely a goal to shoot for!

-Have a consistent backhand shot any distance
-A consistent forehand (300'+)
-9/10 at 30'
-Shoot a 1000 rated round

Haven't seen this til now. I'm looking forward to having this to look back on.

Continue having fun every single round.
Play at least 10 new courses.
Volunteer some more time doing course work.
Introduce more people to the game.
Break 400ft with my FH.
Get a few more Aces.

Learn when and how to hyzer flip effectively (done last week).
Learn the discs I have before buying new ones (except for something a little more overstable for into the wind, he he he)
Smooth up my backhand form so that it doesn't hurt (I'm old).
Learn forehand.

get rating to 1000
and qualify for vibram open...missed cash last year big bummer

these two goals should keep me busy nd on my tows all year

Shoot all tournament rounds at or below par.
Cash in every tournament I play in.
Top 20 at Am Worlds.

Here's to a great year!

Lets see, 2013 goals
Consistently hit 400'
90% from 25 feet
-12 on my current home course(currently -9 after 2 years there)

Meet and become friends with many disc golfers!

Get my Drive to over 500'

Drive my putter (anode) 240-275'

Play in some more minis and PDGA events in TX

Learn more about rollers, Thumbers, and tomahawks.

Play on many more courses this year.

Start a blog going to reflect my thoughts, and journy about disc golfing.

Join the local disc golf club where I live.

I would love to have a disc golf day for underprivalidged kids here locally, where we take them out for a day at the local disc golf course and have lunch provided. Teach them about having fun outside, honesty and integrity, and of course show them disc golf is a great hobby/sport.

Play in some doubles tournaments

And ALWAYS have fun!!!

If you were serious about driving 500', I'm pretty sure you should be able to drive a putter over 300' easily.

As far as my goals go:
-play another top 10 course.
-finish my tone pole and start work building my third basket.
-figure out my run-up.
-see the new course in my area finish being built!

Practice, Practice, Practice

I just started last year, and I made the typical mistake in buying a high speed driver as one of my first 5 discs. So the goals I've set for myself this year are quite extensive but I believe they are reachable!

1: Work on form.
2: Take all the maximum distance drivers out of my bag.
3: Learn to drive a putter at least 200 Feet
4: Learn to drive a mid-range 250+ Feet
5: Be able to consistently throw a Fairway driver 325-350 feet ( with a speed rating of 7)
6: Learn how to properly throw FH, as I'm a BH thrower.
7: Play 15 New courses, and 2 new states.
8: Come in the top 5 @ the VBB in Oak Groove KY on 4 May.
9: Learn how to throw Hyzers, and Anhyzers.
10: Learn How to throw a Hyzer flip.
11: Be able to hit consistent putts between 10-40 feet.

I think this all possible! Does anyone have any suggestions?

Kind of late since tourney season is right around the corner, but I have a few, both in tourneys and out of them:

1. Practice, practice, practice! Field work, putting, mental training. Been neglecting some stuff and I need to get back into the swing of practice!
2. Push my rating above 950 and keep it up there.
3. Become more consistent. I have my moments, and they are starting to become more and more each year, but I want to work on playing more consistently at the level that I know I can play at, which comes with lots of #1! :)
4. Play more tournaments. Last year was a busy year for me with work, and I did not play as many of our series events, or events at all, that I have in the past. I will remedy that this year!
5. Not to finish out of the top 10 at any event. This could be hard being from Montana. Sometimes we have smaller events where there are 10 or fewer people in the division, but at least for the bigger events that I normally play keep it in that range.
6. Win a tournament this year. Pretty self explanatory ha ha.

Play 500 rounds (hit 400 in 2012)
Play in a large tournament.
More consistency in the circle.
Beat my home course record by at least 2 strokes.
