What: 2021 Calvert Open - a PDGA B-tier event
When: July 3-4, 2021 - two rounds on Saturday, one round on Sunday - Shotgun start for all 3 rounds.
Where: Calvert Road Disc Golf Course
How: You register on DiscGolfUnited and show up on Game Day
Why: Because Pros will be playing for Cash (minimum $750 added) and Ams will be getting a Player's Pack worth well more than their entry fee. Right now we are looking at 3 discs and a grab-bag full of goodies (clipboard, towel, sunglasses, etc). This is "True Am" event which means there will be trophies for the winners of each division.
This year, we are offering a guaranteed spot in the event with the sponsorship of one of the holes on the course. There are 18 spots available and they cost $25 each. This does NOT mean you are in the tournament. It means that you do not have to beat the rush to get in. You will have a reserved spot that you will still need to pay for. Early Registration will open this coming Sunday night (5/23) at 6pm.
Normal registration will open the following Wednesday (5/26) at 6pm.
FEES:
$50 for Pros
$45 for Ams
+$10 for non-PDGA and non-current PDGA members
+2 for Ace Pot
