I played a few rounds in Emporia, KS this week, my first since May of last year. The Champ Thunderbird was a workhorse in the Kansas wind and the GStar Sidewinder and Soft Wizard cleaned up the rest.

Good to see you can get back out there :hfive:

I'm guessing you putt with the Nikko Wizards since you bag 2? I switched to SS Wizards for putting last year. Wish I had done that years ago.

And thank you for doing the HOD so often. It's much appreciated. I look forward to it everyday.

Thanks! I do putt with the Nikkos. The Softs are for throwing. Gotta love Wizards! :D

I picked up a Zone earlier this year and had played a few one disc rounds with it when I was still throwing left handed. It overlaps with the BT Hard Harp, but I may end up bagging both. I like the Harp better for finesse forehands and I like the Zone better for power forehands and especially for backhands. The Zone is just so smooth, I kept finding shots for it all day.

The GStar Sidewinder was on today, but the Champ Thunderbird is really coming into its own too.

Do you find overlap between the Roadrunner and Sidewinder? How do you use each of those discs?

Absolutely. To a large degree the are interchangeable. I carry the Roadrunner because I like having a second flippy driver. The Sidewinder is my go-to for pretty much everything: distance, woods, etc. I primarily throw hyzer-flips with it. The GStar plastic seasons quicker than Star or Champion though, so it's nice to have a compliment in plastic that seasons a little slower. I selected this Roadrunner because I like it better than any of the premium plastic Sidewinders I've found recently.

I'm going to bag a HF Roadrunner from time to time this year too. It's kind of like the equivalent to a Sidewinder compared to stock star Roadrunners. Plus it's a bit heavier than my stock RR's.

I played a few rounds in Pueblo, CO earlier this week. The bag looked about the same. The Plasma Ion has a nice stability. I used it for pretty much all putter shots that weren't putts. Pretty much everything else was Sidewinder or Roadrunner.

I played in a tournament yesterday using the bag listed above. It will be my only tournament this year, but I had a lot of fun.

I played Chain's Edge in September. I picked up an ESP Buzzz while I was in St. Cloud and it has made the bag.

I added an ESP Zone to the bag as well. I stopped into GGGT for the first time in a while and was able to hand pick one. I may like ESP the best of all the Zones I've tried. It feels fantastic and throws a bit milder than my Cryztal FLX. I want to buy more.

Another nice stretch of days! I was given a 2020 Ricky Pro Pig and it has immediately become part of my game. It goes right where you put it (if you expect it to finish left).
