Got a bit of an odd trip coming up at the end of this month (June 2023)...

Need some help with some can't miss courses along the way.

Des Moines area to Madison.
Madison to Milwaukee (for a concert) and then down to northern Chicago for overnight
Chicago to Nashville
Nashville to Charlotte

Few days in and around Charlotte

Back to Nashville
Back to Des Moines

Remember, I'm an old guy. A rec player at best, so no huge hikes. And even more novice of a wife will be with me for much of these...

Thanks in advance for the suggestions!

dsm to madison to milwaukee if youre a backyard course lover i would hit up double ds field of dreams for a great 9er (dd says its 18 but its not)

chicago to nashville i would hit up canyons in il

charlotte has a million courses with no significant elevation so you really cant go terribly wrong with some common sense

sick trip with lots of great ground to cover

Charlotte: Mint Hill, very clean very safe park, 9holes, rec friendly, walking trails, my favorite park in Charlotte.
Reedy Creek, very old park, so not so long from the regular tees, lock your car.
Kilborne, not so long from the regular tees, nice park.

Nashville area courses that are top notch Cedar Hill, Seven Oaks, and The Highlands (in that Order). Oggwood for the fun and atmosphere.
