Construction Has Begun

The branches have all been cut and hauled away from the length of Hole 2 and the tee areas of #3 of The Springwood Players' Course at Burlington Springwood Park. That was the one, really involved project, so now we're pretty much waiting on the city's new fiscal year to begin and/or finding a good corporate sponsor. Anyone in or near Waterford, MI with any connection to or with Dunham's Sports tell Tom Lemere to call me back. We have a helluva proposal for him and the company, particularly their new 89.000 sq.ft. superstore three miles from the park. I've left him three or four voice mails over the past few weeks and he hasn't called back. Maybe he doesn't like Southern accents?

This is construction being done on Hole 2 of The Springwood Players' Course at Burlington Springwood Park. It's all part of the annual "Construction Begins" festival that takes place here in early March.
The festival is one of the most exciting parts of this event, as it always includes a round of golf and other events that are open to the public. It's a great time to catch up with old friends, enjoy some food and drinks, and see what the construction crews are up to.
Every year, Burlington Springwood Park comes together for the Construction Begins festival, which marks the beginning of building season for our golf course.
