Crushing The Can Timing

Hey all,

Been working on my weight shift, specifically with crushing the can/trying to push off of the ground with my plant leg and get my hip going. However, when doing this, I would have my knee extending and hip going back as the disc gets to the power pocket, and then the disc comes out after. But I saw a comment talking about how (I think the example was Drew Gibson?) has his plant leg extending at the same time as his throwing arm is releasing the disc. Basically the knee and elbow extend at the same time. Is this how I should actually be thinking about the timing? If so, any drills for this? Maybe elephant walk would be good if I focus on the timing of it. Interested to hear your thoughts.
