New course in the works for Grand Marais, MN

After a few years of organizing and petitioning...it looks like one of the most scenic places in America will be getting a proper 18 hole disc golf course in the next few years. An unused 640 acre area just north of town overlooking Lake Superior owner by the city and county will be turned into a park with mountain biking, hiking, a pavilion, dog park, camping, and thanks to a lot of vocal advocates, a disc golf course. $18.5k is being allotted to its construction.

This I'm excited for. Too bad you're so far away or I would offer to help along the way (maybe I'll make it up sometime during the process). I'll definitely be following this thread and the progress of this.
