Hi Guys, we had quite a few requests through Disc Golf Course Review for a Bluetooth Tracking tag that could be attached to any disc. Well, we finally have it. Introducing the TOBU Seeker. You can now track your favorite disc with your iPhone or Android device:

I'd love it if you could please spam every post on /r/discgolf with a non-topical comment advertising for your new product ... just like last time :)

They claimed to have sacked that marketing person/bot, so let's give them a chance.

Need more info. Can it track a 500ft...oops...400ft...oops again... somewhere around 300-350ft drive and show me the flight path? Thx.

Yep, the old marketing guy is gone. He damaged our brand to say the least; and not just on DGCR. We care about growing the sport so this is our first attempt to begin reestablishing our reputation. Thanks to those of you who believe in second chances.

DiscFifty - The range is about 50 feet. So if you walk toward the direction of your throw it can lead you the rest of the way. The TOBU Seeker also beeps and flashed as well to give you the optimum opportunity to find it. We are currently developing the tech to track flight patterns. Stay tuned.

Tracking flight patterns sounds interesting and could have some great applications.

Could it work to track the flight of the disc in real time for live broadcasts if the tech was available?

Kinda like the blue streak of the hockey puck, back in the day?

Im a cheap mofo and id buy a flight tracker. Hook it up to the computer and see angle of release and flight. Total nerdgasm.

good

hmm.. can track only up to 50ft? So if you throw the disc in a thick forest, if you're within 50ft you can find your disc. ok.. that will work for that application. But imho the real application would come from being able to track the flight of your disc. Get that up and running and you're in bidness. ;)
