My friend Doug teeing off on Hole 17 at Blue Ribbon Pines.

Doug's putt just about to miss for a 4 on Hole 4.

My drive that made it 70% of the way before ducking into the tree line on the left.

I always wonder if I should wait or not to drive. On my best day I can hit people still down there. Yet when I start thinking like that I usually nail a tree less than 50 feet away from the tee.



All from the 2011 Minnesota Majestic. The one with me teeing off on Hole 4 with my blue River is one of my favorites. You can just see the River under my arm in the picture rocketing down the fairway. Not my best drive ever, but still good enough to net a 4 on the hole.

OK, I'm trying to find my way around Waller Park and I get to the tee on #14, which plays up to a ridge. I climb up to the top of the ridge to see where the basket is, and I see this:

God, I love that course!

My local course that has 3 holes under water due to high water from the adjacent river. We had a tremendous amount of snow this winter and the lakes are at 100% capacity.
