Looking for some new ways to play for tags, alternative games or even formats etc.

First thing you have to do is get the guy that has the #1 tag out of retirement.

Play for cash, then have tags be part of the match. Cash gets #1 out.

Match play events are also fun ways to play for tags. Skin style format where you win holes, and holes can carry over. Makes it fun because each hole has it's own set of pressure. 600' hole, I'll give that one up, but play hard on the 300' holes. Evens playing field.

We don't hand out the #1 tag until the end of the year. A placeholder tag goes out (bottle opener or something like that) and holder of that can exchange for #1 tag after final match.

We set a time limit on how long the top 3 tags can hide out. If a no show at the end of that time, the winner of that Sunday round gets the top tag.

Have a points system. For every player you beat each week award 2 points, for each tied award 1 point. If you also beat a player you had a better tag number than at the start, you get an additional 1 point. This would incentivize players with the good tags to come out.
