But i will give props to my cousin winning the junior divison..... Hes coming up fast and as long as his attitude stays out of his game his he's always on target....

its always cool to see the youngins playing good golf. I was planning on playing but after a long night in downtown i just couldnt get myself up this morning. I did play bear creak and both lester lorch courses today pretty terribly so maybe it was better off that i didnt play out at greenbriar.

Thanks to everyone for coming out even though it was freezing balls. Also thanks to Ken (ZboazMobster) for setting up a event site and inviting a ton of DFW players.
Jerry Seabolt won Masters and Jonathan Lloyd won Juniors. I forgot the names of the two guys that won Novice and Rec.
As soon as I get the scores off of Tim's laptop, I'll post them up on here.

+10 the first round (longs)
-1 the second round (longs) ---- I have no idea how this happened. Something clicked, and everything came together. I chalk-it-up to (after the finishing next to the pond after the 1st round) good disc Karma!!! I retrieved about 3 discs out of the drink and returned them all.
........can't say it enough. if you play near water, get a retriever.
Trophy, Chrystal Challenger (2nd round CTP), Chrystal AvengerSS, and 2 of those purty purty ghost-stamped Preds.
It was totally fun guys!!!!
Super cold at first. Wasn't to shabby that second round, granted the wind was some of the worst I've seen out there, still.

Did Nathan W. win Rec? I hope so... I told him he would. He's good at throwing plastic, and had never been in an event. So my advice to him a few days ago was to bag Rec, then move on to Adv at his next event.

yeah im not sure what happened. i guess it warmed up a little bit, but with the wind i still played really well second round. without the wind i think i could have gotten alot more birdies instead of pars... but free plastic and good fellowship. totally worth it!

As we're planning our next event for April 23rd (location and format to be determined) what do yall think about doing something other than a disc in the players pack? Like maybe a quality hat, t-shirt or maybe even a nice drifit?
