There are rumors that the newly approved sports park is going to affect the disc golf course at Turtlecreek. Since they took many pictures from the existing park for this brief article (http://www.mydaytondailynews....hCjbAK53aN/),it might seem so. But the map of the affected areas currently show large scale projects to the east and west of the existing park, and not in the park or the woods. Maybe there will be some driveway/street changes affecting a couple of holes, but my take is there isn't a current plan to change the existing park drastically. Please post specifics if you've heard otherwise...and discuss...

Has anyone heard about this course being taken out soon? I heard rumors that the land was bought by another company and they plan on taking out the disc golf course. Any information would be great!

Update: yep: Turtlecreek is closing to make way for a sports complex. Guess disc golf isn't a sport. Good news is they plan is to design a new course next door at Armco park & move the baskets there. Come on out for a flex start fundraiser 2/4/18 to help with the move!
