[Vibram] Vibram Porn!

Here is my collection - I love the grey Vibrams - A W E S O M E!

These discs look so amazing when they fly ... you really see the rotation unlike anything, except the tie-dyes. But these look so much better, to me at least.

I got it in a trade from MrFixIt, I think. Really a pretty boy, and it is my go to driver because I took all my high speed stuff out to work on my form.

Those grey Vibrams are rad.

And I agree, these are the best looking discs on the market. And with so much variance I person can pick out discs that "speak" to them.

14 Laces, 5 Ibexes, 4 VPs, 11 Traks, 8 Obexes, 17 Ridges, 7 Ascents, 11 Summits, 13 Soles... Too many GORGEOUS discs too photograph individually :)

Best Vibram I've ever seen

I saw this on the Disc Golf Collector Facebook group, guy named Nick is looking for it!

I REALLLLLLLY hope more than one of these exist, I'm drooling! (want... so... BAD!)

Ok, that ^^^^^^ is fugly. :|

So I found one of my Vibram holy grail discs today.
I doubt anyone except me thinks these were special though.

Vibram produced one run of Ascents, either in 2010, or 11, that looked like wood veneer.
They were brown, black, and yellow.
No runs of any other Vibram mold have been produced in these colors, ever.

I have worked with wood for years, and I have always appreciated exotic veneers. I regret not purchasing this disc since I first saw it, but I didnt even really throw Ascents then.

Now, its a staple in my bag, meaty, and trusty, but I tend to turn them into Eagles after about 6 months.
I dont want another Eagle, I have plenty.

Ascent has unique flight numbers, nothing else is the same, from any maker, so it fits a niche. It's a spot I like alot, so I always need a nice fresh one in the bag.

Today I found this beauty !

Gladly paid retail for it. I would have paid more. I have asked for these from the members here, and nobody had a clue what they were.

Sometimes in life its the little things. :)

...well, each to their own I guess, I think its the coolest thing I've ever seen :p

On that note, nice score on that wood veneer, looks awesome!

Another nice Lace

I picked this one up in the MP when they first came out. Very similar to the one you saw BluBubs.

DAAAAAAANG! :hfive:

...yup, that'd be as close any disc could ever come to matching!! (...I mean, since literally every Vibram is unique)

WOW... so then, the inevitable questions :)

Would you ever part with said masterpiece?

  • If yes, what are the specs? (weight, medium or firm, what you'd want for it, etc.)
  • If no, no pressure/sweat at all - major congrats on having quite possibly the sweetest disc I've ever seen!
