What are the odds?

I was recently invited to Am Worlds with all the excitment I decided to procrastinate on taking the officials test. I took and passed the test yesterday and signed up for worlds today. Junior Boys <19 has had a wait list since May 3rd. What are the odds that I will be able to play in this event? Is it common for people to drop out? Thanks for your input!
