Probably the best course in Spokane, give this one a shot.

Elevation-how can you not love an elevated course. This course has the right amount of elevation on several holes and uses the present elevation well.
All types of shots will be needed here in order to score well. L to R, R to L, tight lines, open lines, etc. this course has a bit of everything.
Also there is a good mix of distances here as well. Short, moderate, and longer holes are all present.
The scenery is very nice with the pines and rock formations it all adds a nice ambience.
A and B positions for the baskets and short and long pads on most holes keep things from getting stale.
There are benches in several spots and I'm sure the benches get used often for those players(like myself) that are from the flat lands.

Pads are in good shape and plenty ample and the signage is adequate with all the necessary information.
The elevated basket on Hole 12 keeps things interesting.
Hole 14 is the signature hole here and 20 is a fun one to bomb out there as well. Both use the elevation to their advantage very well.

Holes 7 and 8 are very close to each other, and you have to back track a bit down 7's fairway to get back to 8's tee box.
The walk from 5's basket to 6's tee is a tad long and slows the flow of the round down a bit.
There is the potential on Holes 4 and 18 to throw in on players, especially those on Hole 3. Please keep an eye on where your disc lands.
The bike trails could be an issue as they run throughout the course so again please be aware before you throw.

Overall this is the best course in the Spokane area. I throughly enjoyed my round here. This course is so much fun with its elevation and woods its a quality course. The adjacent river across the road also adds a nice scenic touch. There is enough variety and challenge here to make you work on all facets of your game. If you are in the area this is a must play course.

1L 8L 10 13 14 15 16 17 & 19 each have Great Greens, with a Handful of Basket Positions up on Rock Croppings

14 17 18 & 20 have very Elevated Teepads, and 17 n 20 really let you Snap one off

Short Tees on 14 15 16 & 17 are a nice option for Newer Discers

Couple Bonus Holes available, I've been referring to as 19 & 20
They currently have Natural Tees and use 5gallon Buckets on wood Posts
These two holes are Outstanding Design
First Throwing back Up to a Green in the Rocks, with a Challenging Fairway. Then an Elevated Bomber, to really Finish the Round with a sense of Satisfaction
Hopefully these can become Permanent, with Upgraded Tees and Baskets

17 is Such a Great Discgolf Hole, it lives beyond the Hype

I could Flip Meteors off 14 all Day too, that Tee is awesome

Yellow Poles on Vortex' help Visibility, even well into the Twilight

Green n Gold 'Next Tee' Signs look good, and make navigation easy

1 is Blind and the Teesign Doesn't have anything Indicating which Location the Basket is in, A or B. No Teesigns indicate Current Position, but most other Holes have better Visibility

18 and 4 Play Down on each side of 3, so keep your eyes open

With the Ridge, Water, and Rock Croppings... kinda reminds me of a 'North' Zephyr Cove out there

Actually Jamboree is its own Stellar and Unique Dgc that I'd love to have as my Local

- Challenging without being overbearing, all skill levels could enjoy a round here and even the top tier will be challenged.
- Well designed, great tee signs and well placed next hole signs on most holes that need them. Concrete tee pads are in good shape and not cracked or crumbled.
- Excellent workout!! The elevation here is spectacular and the views off of the higher up tee pads such as #14 and #17 are amazing. If you wear a fitness tracker you can expect to routinely track 50+ flights of elevation in a single round.
- Hole #17 is absolutely undeniably awesome, every aspect of it from tee to green makes for a "dream 18" level hole, worth playing here any time just to throw #17.
- Great course to shape up your game, not many "gimme" tee shots, scoring well here requires the ability to consistently hit smaller gaps only a few feet in front of you and scramble well if you throw off-line.

- Parking can be troublesome in summer as the mountain bikers flood in you will see cars parked on the roadside on both sides of the entrance at times.
- Bike paths crossing into walking paths on some holes, keep your head up and on a swivel particularly if the park is busy with bikers and you've thrown off-line.
- Some of the tee pads have restricted/short or inclined run-ups and can feel a bit cramped at times if you have a longer stride. Holes #3, #11 and #13 come to mind
- Can be lots of dogs off-leash at times
- Holes #7 and #8 somewhat overlap, walking from #7 basket to #8 tee has no route other than walking back down the fairway area between the two, possible collision point.
- Hole #14 long tee can be a bit scary going up and down in the rain/wet, quite steep.

Not a pro or con are the baskets, they're not a common basket so they do get mixed reviews and I'm sorta split on them like many others seem to be. They catch good/great from the middle down but softer puts on the outside and a little high don't catch like any other basket really, they can have some knee weakening drop-outs. Cages have no nubs, so you can get some weird ramp-like spit outs if it rings around the cage.

Bring lots of water, wear comfy shoes with good grip, have a blast!

As I walked up to this course, I saw signs for a mountain bike park. Now that means one thing if there's a DGC in the same place: EPIC ELEVATION. Camp Sekani doesn't disappoint at all.
-The tee areas at this course are great, well sized concrete tees and high quality helpful tee signs.
-The Baskets are a design I haven't seen before, they sort of look like Mach X, but the chains aren't as heavy, they catch pretty good though.
-This is a wooded course, so I was excited to see Baskets with bright yellow and white colors as opposed to gray, which makes them easy to spot through the trees. On the holes that are blind, the tee sign is very helpful in showing where you should throw.
-The fairway/rough dynamic is very well thought out here. The fairway has been really dug in through the trees, but you can tell the designer wanted to use trees instead of cut them down. There is a clear shot on every hole, it's just going to be tough to hit it. The rough is also quite nice, not that it's easy to get out of, because it isn't at all, but it has little underbrush that hides discs, which makes the course feel clean.
-Elevation is the defining trait of this course. Camp Sekani Jamboree is a course that plays on a big hill side, with rocks and stuff. Holes play up the hill and down the hill, eventually you get to a massive downhill throw from on top of a boulder. The tee puts you almost level with the tops of the trees down below, and makes for an epic (and instagram worthy) tee shot.
-This course has a few benches, I think it could use some more seating, because I was really tired after just a few holes. Note that I am a pretty fit individual, not to brag or anything, but it's true. Definitely be sure to bring water, and allow for a fair amount of time because this course is strenuous.
-One of the coolest things about this course is the basket placements. There is a basket on top of a cool rock pile, and another elevated one on top of a bridge. These add some challenge and are fun to play and look at.

-The biggest con of the course is that it is a bit cramped. If it were on flat ground, it would be fine. But when discs fly down hills, through trees, they sometimes end up doing strange things. Also, the course plays really close to the mountain bike area, and it even crosses it sometimes, this wasn't a huge problem for me because I didn't see a whole lot of bikers, but on a busy day it could get hazardous. Also, some tees after a big downhill shot are questionably close to the last basket, it wouldn't be hard at all to nail someone on the next tee with a downhill throw.
-I played this course in some light rain. Given that it is a wooded course, there isn't really grass on the fairways, also, when it rains on packed dirt, it gets a little muddy. And muddy hillsides can get slick. I started to notice that even with light rain, and tons of pine needles everywhere, the course got a little tough to traverse.

I would make the case for this being the best course in Spokane. I haven't played them all, but I've played a bunch of them, and this was my favorite. Come check this course out, and don't forget good shoes and water.

The course is on a great piece of land with good elevation, mature pines, and a ravine through the middle.

The front 9 consists of relatively tight drives through big trees. Some good use of elevation with holes 2 & 3 being steeply uphill and holes 4 & 5 coming back down.

The real fun starts with the back nine, where more elevation and interesting basket locations come into play. Hole 10 has the basket up on a man-made mound of large boulders. Holes 15 and 17 utilize natural rock formations for challenging pin placements and hole 16 has the basket up on a narrow footbridge, about 4' above natural ground. Each of these presents a significant risk/reward. If you decide to run it for the birdie (or par), you may quickly end up with a bogie, or worse.

Hole 14 from the long tee is a great "Top-of-the-World" shot to a basket far, far below. Hole 17 is another significant downhill shot to a very tough basket placed on a rugged rock formation. And Hole 18 is a nice downhill finishing hole to a basket with out-of-bounds behind and to the left.

Very good concrete tee pads. Excellent signs with useful hole diagrams, alternate pin placements, distance, and hole sponsor information. "Next Tee" signs for just about every hole. Very nice Arroyo Vortex baskets.

Decent gravel parking lots, bulletin board with a lot of local DG info, and a secure "found disc" drop box are all welcome items at the start of the course.

The front nine can start to feel a bit repetitive. Tight drives through trees to the basket 250 - 350' away. Not bad holes, but being consecutive makes them a little too similar.

The baskets can be tough to spot in the shade and shadows of the trees. A couple had faded yellow flags on top but they could all benefit from something brighter.

A couple of holes have a poke-and-pray aspect to them, with evenly spaced large trees a significant distance down the fairway. It seems to be a matter of luck whether you get through cleanly or not. Or maybe I'm just not good enough!

With the elevation, trees, and several unique basket placements, this is an interesting and challenging course. I enjoy it each time I get to play.

Some folks might find a basket on a man-made boulder pile or footbridge to be a little gimmicky, but I enjoy the extra challenge.

Great course, well laid out with plenty of risk/reward shot opportunities. Creative use of the natural terrain to create signature holes. The back 9 in particular are spectacular, 14, 17 and 18 are among the most unique that I've encountered in the PNW.

As others have mentioned some of the holes are incredibly challenging with limited lay-up opportunities. Lots of treed tunnel shots. The course is a great walk, bring sturdy shoes and lots of water as there is plenty of elevation gain.

Super course, don't miss it.

Overall good course. Challenging elevation changes. Easy to find each tee. The longest distance is just over 500'. Some of the distances along with the trees should be par 4s but there only 3s. There is only 2 par 4s. Fun course to play. Will play there again for sure.

Holes 3,4,5 are along the busy road, so be carfull not to have any hard right throws or you could find yourself in the road.should be more par4s and it would be more fun.

Mtn Bikers on hole areas when they have designated areas, I dont really like these baskets as much as DGA, but they are good, just not friendly to bad putts on the left side.

Camp Sekani Jamboree DGC sits on a 25 acre site that was for 40 years a Boy Scout Jamboree Area. It was abandoned by the scouts, used solely by BMX'ers for awhile and has now been transformed into one fine disc golf course.
The terrain is typical Spokane area/Eastern Washington, that is scattered trees with not much underbrush. Playing on a very steep hillside not only makes for quite a workout but also for a plethora of classic downhill throws, baskets placed in tricky rock formation and some sound engineering.

The baskets are Arroyo Vortex models. They look good and catch very well. The course features nice concrete tee pads of various sizes depending on the run-up needed. The word Jamboree is embedded in the concrete on each pad. Great tee signs with all the needed information although I wasn't always sure which basket position (A or B) I was throwing at. The next tees signs help me navigate the course the first time through. One next tee sign even had the distance (140') to the next tee. I've not seen that before.
In early May, the entire course was colorful with these pretty yellow flowers in bloom everywhere.
IMO, what really made this course were the 3-4 awesome downhill holes.

# 5 is just a long, sloping downhill but if you hit your line, it's pretty to watch your disc sail through the trees.
# 14 called Pinfall, which you teeing off from atop a large rock formation. It's more of a touch shot, 293/311' but a great tee location another challenging shot through the trees.
# 17. Great engineered tee pad area with benches. Par 4 559' downhill with trees in center of fairway so you have to hit your line. I put my tee off right in the middle of the fairway then realized that the second shot was also going to be a very tricky annie through the trees. And then the basket is perched on a outcrop of rocks with not much room for error. This might be my favorite hole anywhere in Washington state.
#18 The last downhill 329/333' through the trees. Great way to end your round!

Almost all the holes were tight, straight and technical in nature. I think because of the lack of thick underbrush, the course had to be designed this way. If you're not accurate off the tee, you just might not score well here.

This course is a hike and a half. Bring water for those warm Spokane days and shoes with good support.

IMO, this course's current rating is a little undervalued. With it's great down hills holes, overall challenge, nice amenities, and great three season weather here in Spokane, I think it should rate higher and should be compared with the top rated courses in Washington. I guess it might not contain the distance and overall difficulty to truly challenge Pro players. I would think everyone else would love Camp Sekani Jamboree.

This is a great course that is very challenging. It's one of Spokan's best courses for advanced players . Fairways might be a little too tight and a bit long for beginners to thoroughly enjoy. The long holes are a doable par and a tough fight for birdies. The shorter holes are an easier bird, but require accuracy and finesse. I'm not a huge fan of the vortex baskets, but it's not too big of an issue and defiantly won't discourage me from playing the course in the future. Overall, this has instantly became one of my favorites. There is also a second course currently using buckets that is rumored to be going in permanently soon. This is a must play course!

Great baskets including a practice basket. Lots of long tunnel shots and several holes that have their own unique flair. Fairly easy to navigate, especially since they now have signs up.

300' tunnels can get a little old, lots of ankle-breaker stumps at about 3-4" that can get covered up by undergrowth and create a tripping hazard. A few fairways that are close to each other and a couple climbs that can be dangerous.

The guys at Disc Golf Uprising are doing a great job improving this course. New signs make navigation easy and the vortex baskets are the best in the game right now. Can't wait until they get baskets in on the gold course!

very repetitive, most holes are a straight 300', Many holes are way to close to other fairways/greens, several holes a good drive is within 30' of other baskets.very poor use of space.

Easily the best public course in Spokane. While Highbridge and Downriver are worth playing, they both miss on several aspects that Sekani doesn't. Nearly every hole has elevation and it's combined with tight lines. You will never have the chance to let one rip without hitting your lines. That being said, you can still recover on most holes from a bad drive. You do not want to miss this course if you are traveling through like I was!

Super fun holes, with several creative basket locations. Fairly short holes, but offset due to tons of trees on several holes.

Signage is coming, but sometimes difficult to know where to throw. Some holes the weeds are really tall and difficult to find disc, even when in fairway.

One of the most fun rounds I have played in a long time. Even though holes are fairly short, the course is creative and super enjoyable!

this course has a lot of fun holes, it is somewhat difficult for a beginner, there are a couple ace runs, test yourself

this is really tall grass in lots of weeds, can be very difficult to find your disc, hole 8 and 17 can be the most difficult at this course, certain holes can be wooded

Challening. lots of 250'-290' holes but the terrain and elevation changes make it remarkably difficult but to shoot under par is easy to achieve for 1000 rated players. 2 par 4's easy to birdie with the right thread shot.

Teepad on 8. You have to walk back along side the fairway of 7 to get to it. If you have bad knees then dont come play this course, lots of elevation changes. Some of the basket placements on on mossy rocks with no green. Could be a potential slipping hazard in wet conditions.

Challenge yourself at Sekani - the course isn't a walk in the park. The terrain and variety of holes requires skill to play well.

The course layout works with the wooded hillside terrain and ravines. The new baskets, and several of the unique pin placements add to the experience.

The abundant trees and brush can frustrate (us) less skilled players.
