Championship-level course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 9, 2019 Played the course:once

Pros:

Beautiful property -> well-maintained, friendly, busy golf club with a pro shop that sells discs, plus a bar, restaurant, etc.

A true championship-level course -> features 12 par threes, four par fours, and two par fives (mercy!)

Rolling hills -> amazing use of actual ball golf holes - you share several tee positions with golfers

Finesse shots -> curiously, the course contrasts very large holes by very short ones, which keeps you guessing

Cons:

Private course -> $10 + to play a round, but well worth it

Work-in-progress -> more tee positions than tee pads

Tricky signage -> make sure you follow the beige signs with Innova branding on them (ignore the old nine hole course signs)

Not for beginners -> even with all the short holes, this is not a great choice for kids and beginners

Other Thoughts:

A great example of how ball and disc golfers can happily share a course--even if we seem a bit weird!

This club serves awful beer... They need to partner with a local microbrewery to offer some tastier options.
