Pros:
Recreational to kiddie level course in a well maintained city park. Baskets, despite their narrow single chain design and rubber buckets actually catch pretty well and are in good shape. Course actually has some elevation in play despite its short length with a couple of cool downhill "bombs" (probably 250' max) on Holes 4 and 7. Great place to take the kids to introduce them to the game. You can probably improve the fun factor here by making your own tees.
Cons:
Too short to be very enjoyable for anyone beyond a beginner. Some danger issues too. Hole 3 cuts too close to a picnic shelter. Hole 6 too close to a playground. The tees which are paver stone markers aren't terribly visible (Hole 9's I could not find at all). The baskets, well, they're fine for this kind of course, but in all honesty, there's room in this particular park to build a better more traditional length nine hole course using the park's margins around the ball field.
Other Thoughts:
One of two nine hole courses in Clay Center. By the looks of the pictures, the course over at Dexter, which I didn't have time to play, is very similar, baskets and all, minus the elevation at Huntress.
No need for an arsenal of discs here. You can just leave the bag in the car and grab a putter. Really only worth your time if you have kids in tow or just want to check this one off your list.
