Pros:
I was looking to practice for an upcoming tournament on a open course. Accidentally read the review for the other course on the property that says "open with light woods". Not the case for this course as the first 7 holes have moderate to tight tunnels. Really enjoyed the course. It is very difficult from the long tees, but has some great landing spots that create challenging upshots. If you get off the fairway you are punished. Great use of the elevation changes. Par 4s and 5s were legit and no gimmie birdies.
Great tee signs that had next tee direction. Good use of obstacles to block many typical righty hyzer shots. Greens seemed to be well thought out. Tee pads were designed for the hole. The two 1000 footer holes had 12-15 foot tee pads at least. Use of flags on two of the blind holes was very helpful. Didn't play them, but the short pads looked to significantly reduce the hole difficulty.
Cons:
Trash in many areas with no garbage cans that I could remember. Next tee signs are sporadic. One basket looked to be modified to be a like a marksman had maybe 8-12 chains with one hanging? Hole 16 was missing a tee or I missed it maybe due to the construction.
Other Thoughts:
This is probably going to be a beast in the wind or when the trees and brush bloom in the spring.
