Pros:
Panic park was listed as a practice area when I played it. Not visible on the map without filtering. Ridiculous. This is absolutely a course. It's 9 numbered baskets with the numbers on the top band facing the right direction. That's already better than the MAJORITY of WI school course alone.
As I just mentioned, Innova Discatchers for baskets. All are in solid shape. Not new by any means, but they caught fine and get the job done. One basket and pin position per hole.
The flow of the course is easy to follow. Basket to basket. As simple as it gets. It's a small park so there's not much leeway for specialized tee and pin locations. Hole out, throw from a good spot to the next visible basket. Deal.
Beautiful area right next to a river. Not much else around and zero traffic. The design is good if nobody else is there.
Easy navigation and a super quick play for more experienced players. The best asset of this place is it's pros for the other end of the spectrum. This is a fantastic beginner course. Somebody might actually play and think, "That was pretty fun, I should do this again". Nobody has ever said that at any of the other local nines. You want to play this one again, not just be done with it.
Cons:
With what I said above, the course has holes that play too close to each other. Crossing fairways and whatnot. It's a small park so you can see most oncoming throws. MOST is the key here. Not all.
A couple or three holes have you throwing over the park entrance road. Holes 2,3,8 and 9 for sure. Errant shots from 1 can reach this area as well.
No tees, no signs. I get that is a con I normally list. It's a non issue here. Such a miniscule thing. It's a short course. If your eyesight is good you can see the bold black number on the yellow band for the next hole. Even if 2 baskets are visible from the "tee". Still a con as I'd normally do it. sigh
Other Thoughts:
I rated this course how I do all my reveiws. Not highly lol. To give this a 0 rating is beyond absurd. It's nine holes and listed as a practice area? What. I also visited the other course in town on this day. Listed as a permanent 9 hole course. I encountered in descending order. 4 tee signs, 4 tees and 3 baskets.
I changed Panic to an actual course because that's what it is. The flaws to this site have never been more apparent than this 0 rating for this course and it's practice area status. Still better than Udisc lol.
