Cons:
- A run of really ridiculous holes. #2 is a narrow alley between tennis courts and deep woods: #3 has a large new campus sign blocking the green - which is in a marshy, overgrown area; #4 has a parking lot cutting across the fairway - and the school has added shed-style roofs with solar collectors above the parking lot (Compare the pictures from 2009 and 2018)
Other Thoughts:
It is playable, but: a handful of mediocre straight holes mixed with some impossibly bad ones. Might have been a 2 in its prime (e.g., it's got signs and baskets). Now a 1.0 at best because it's been so compromised by campus construction and inattention. It appears that nobody cares they have a disc golf "course" and it might just continue to degrade until the baskets are pulled
COURSE AMENITIES:
Board at the first tee with a map of the layout that's become so moldy you can't read it. Classic fiberglass DGA signs (several missing) and DGA baskets; no tees. Bent basket on 8; looks like it took a beating with a baseball bat
RECOMMENDED COMBINATIONS:
Peake is conveniently located in the midst of other skippable 9's (Hyatt, White Marsh, MaryDel, Dover Park). Unless you're just bagging courses, your best mid-DelMarVa Peninsula bet is to stick to the 18's: Tuckahoe, Killens Pond and Henlopen
