Pros:
Great cement tee pads. Great baskets. Great signage. Easy navigation. Good variety of holes. Very clean and really well tended fairways. Hard to lose a disc unless you find the risky pond on 18, or one at mid course. Mandos keep you honest, especially the triple mando through a wooden structure. The lady owner plays disc golf, cares a lot about the course and is very friendly and helpful. A unique concept is that rather than pay $10 to play, you pay $10 inside a little store and select $10 worth of merchandise. Its all on the honor system as you take what you want and put money in a box. This is a beautiful property, an awesome course and a great experience. There is a sprinkling of 4 pars, maybe even a 5. This place is a true gem and should be played while on Vancouver Island.
Cons:
Very little to knock about this course. There was a brush pile in the line of fire on one of the middle holes, but I believe it will be gone before you get there. 14s tee pad seemed to be in some state of repair or a move to a near by area.
Other Thoughts:
I saw more snakes on this course than on any course that I've played, dozens of them. Every one of them were the same variety and absolutely harmless. It may bother some people, but I thought it was pretty cool. Please don't harm them, they certainly won't harm you.
