Other Thoughts:
This course is a former ball golf course that has been converted into a dedicated disc golf course. This course was made possible by The Magalia Community Park department as a project to help rebuild the Magalia Community after the 2018 "Camp Fire" that ravaged the local communities and destroyed the beloved Lava Creek DGC in Paradise. Most holes are open shots with strategic OB placed around greens and the cart paths on the edges of the fairway. There is a lot of room to bomb drives out here. There are a few holes that require some touch shots when they are in the short position. Signage is good and up to date. Check Udisc for additional layouts and directions. This is a long course and having a pull cart here is a huge benefit. The course is a pay to play. $5 gets you access to the course. Pay Jake in the pro shop or drop your money in the box if the shop is closed. Izzy's bar and grill is right next to the pro shop and is a great place to stop for a bite or a post round pint. The community center is also right in the same plaza as Izzys and the Pro shop. If you need to use a restroom, that's the place to go when they're open. The Local DG community has rallied around this course and it's clear that the best is yet to come for this course.
