Pros:
- The course had lots of elevation change, and technical shots.
- Well marked, and easy to navigate between holes.
- Not too far out of Stockholm, or Täby.
- Unique terrain, that isn't really found in the U.S., including lots of rocks and boulders.
- Fun for beginners or experienced players, due to varying shot shapes, and challenging greens.
- Good course to beat discs in, due to lots of rocks. (Could also be viewed as a con)
- Discatcher baskets, in good condition.
- Free, and well maintained.
- only 9 holes
- good parking
Cons:
- Tee pads were not very good, as the gravel was not even, and led to me losing my balance on several drives.
- Not necessarily a recreational course, although it is short and only 9 holes
- Not many long holes
Other Thoughts:
This course is definitely worth visiting if you're in the area, especially if you're traveling from the states, as it is unique to Sweden's topography, and really fun. To reach it from the parking lot, it is a short walk on the path to the right, and is across the road from the soccer fields, about a 2 minute walk. There is food nearby as well. This course could easily get a 3.5 or 4, due to how good shape it is in, how pretty it is, and how fun it is, but I didn't feel like I could give it any more than 3, since there were some cons, and it was only a 9 hole course. It is however, definitely the best 9 hole course I have played.
