Super windy!!! I can't tell you how windy it was! I am used to playing in wind, but this was something else!
Tough to find tee for hole 4.

Glad I played a few holes in Iceland, but I'll try a different course next time. This one was fine though.

On a clear day the views are absolutely magnificent. The couse sits on top of a hill and you get a beautiful 360 degrees panorama of mountais, the ocean, the bay and the city.

The course has a nice flow to it and tees are easy to find without a map. Discs tend to stay well in view on the grassy ground.

It's a beginner friendly course in the sense that the holes are on the sorter side (about 53m-98m or 170ft-320ft) and you can't really get in trouble here. No bushes, no trees, no OB. If you miss your shot, you're just going to be further from the pin than you planned. The wind is really the only thing that'll mess with your game.

There really aren't proper tee pads, only wooden poles marking the tee. Hole 8 is especially problematic in this regard. The tee is at an angle on top of a narrow ridge which often gets muddy. It also happens to be the longest and windiest hole, but mostly not having pads isn't a big issue.

The course is often rather windy, even by Icelandic standards.

The plot of land doesn't lend itself to a very varied experience but the designers have done a good job of making use of what they have. There are uphill and downhill holes and a few baskets sit on the sides of or behind mounds.

It's usually a very quiet course. Seldom any players, just some people on a walk.

The lack of obstacles and relatively short holes makes this a fast playing nine holes.
