Pros:
-The course isn't ever that busy.
-The park is a nice park with good, old growth trees that are thick and tall, not short and shrubby.
-Being in the middle of town, it's easy to access.
-Right beside tennis courts/facility, so there's water and bathrooms right beside the course.
-Nice baskets in great shape.
-Tee Pads are all in very good shape and of reasonable size for the length of the holes.
-Plenty of parking; seriously, there's stupid amounts of parking available.
-The baskets get moved around a fair amount, leaving you to not throw the same shot for years on end.
-Good for beginners and families wanting to get introduced to the sport.
-Plenty of trash bins (though they seem to be rarely used).
Cons:
-Very, very short holes.
-Very compact in the park, and a lot of people entirely ignore hole structure and play random layouts. I don't find issue with this other than the fact that when people play these made-up layouts, they seem to completely ignore the fact that other people are already using, correctly I might add, the basket they're throwing to and they just throw regardless. I think this is just poor form. Be courteous, particularly when you're going about things out of order.
-Holes line up really close to one another, and being that the holes are so rarely guarded, you are sometimes left guessing which basket is the correct basket. You'll figure it out permanently after playing the course once though.
-Only 9 holes.
-Plays stupid fast. You can double the 9 for a full round of 18 in less than an hour with a group of four. Less than 30 minutes if you're by yourself.
-There's always people walking the jogging/walking path that goes around the course and commonly runs along and remarkably close to many of the landing zones around baskets and fairways.
-You should be able to deuce every single hole at this place with very little trouble.
-All those trash bins that never get used. There's smashed beer cans all over this course.
-This course can be populated by a pretty rough crowd at times.
Other Thoughts:
This course is good for a quick practice round for players, or to learn the game for people that are just being introduced. Beyond that, it's pretty subpar...
