Putter Practice

Reviewed: Played on:Mar 5, 2022 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

6 baskets in fair condition. Natural tees on every hole (marked with two large painted rocks on the ground. 4 open holes and 2 wooded holes that are tight but fair. You can pretty much throw a putter on every hole or work on what your game lacks before tackling the main course (which starts on the other side of the park).

Cons:

For what it is worth, and meant to be, there are only 6 holes. (There is a 7th tee just past the 6th basket and there is a basket for that tee, but you do have to back track). While the course is meant for beginners and for warm-ups, you'll want to avoid going left on hole 2, as the rough is extremely thick and brutal. Last one: holes 1 and 2 are prone to being marshy after storms.

Other Thoughts:

As a beginner course, it's fairly friendly (other than going far left on hole 2). As a warm-up/practice set of holes, it does the trick, as you can throw any shot you really want (save the 400' bomb, you won't need it). It's suitable to bring a first time player and also more than suitable as a warm up prior to taking on the longer course at the park.
