Seems it's becoming a tradition for me, too.
Really nice morning to play and I'm so glad I did. My previous 2 times out were rough, but it was a lot of fun to get back in the groove today. Indeed, the good times were had.
Ugh, "just 1" disc turned into 3. But, boy am I fired up to get 'em.
A blowfly is on the way, a F2 Echo Star Wraith, and one of those Xtra Gummy Champion Valks that you guys made me buy.
I have good feels about these incoming discs.
In my experience, here, it takes something other than that. I'm not sure what, though.
I AM glad that it works well for you! But likewise, I found my solution that makes rounds much more enjoyable for me.
:D
I'll spare you my rant, but since moving here I've learned over time to not even bother trying to play through slow groups anymore. I just skip a couple holes to get past them. It's ridiculous.
For me, it helps to crouch down much lower than my normal shot stance. Seems to provide more potential for exploding out and up to get that thing up the hill.
The 2 you mentioned and Buffalo Ridge get the most talk around here. Fountain Hills looks nice, I just haven't made it over there yet. Seems like a very different experience from Buffalo.
Buffalo Ridge is fantastic, I've played most of the city courses and it's an easy favorite of mine. If...
Understatement. :)
I liked how that Mark Ellis dude put it - practice making them, not missing them. Something like that. Very heady. Start as short as you need to.
