    2014 Texas State Championships NT

I was looking good in first two rounds in my GM as wind is not so bad, but on Sunday as wind really picked up from 8am on (30+ MPH winds!) and it threw my game off and I was one short of century mark! Man I need to work on my game with those 30+ MPH winds!

[MVP] MVP Disc Sports (Official Thread) (Part II)

Finally had chance to play some very windy rounds in Texas (unlike in Florida where wind is pretty rare at where I normally play at). Recent Tuesday practice round at Old Settlers Park (tournament layout Texas States) was my windiest round ever, got 92 (compare with 74 yesterday and 73 today at...

Yeah, more calm today than yesterday.

    2014 Texas State Championships NT

I play better at Texas States than recent Florida tournaments per my ratings :) (James Clark 39499 Grandmaster). Well I play at 8am when the wind is calm but it picked up at later holes. Ricky's card started early compare with rest of Open card so he got some advantage of less winds in...

    [MVP] MVP Switch fairway driver

Got this 167 tester pearly purple Switch today! I threw this 167g Switch for about an half hour at the open field with some winds. At my power level (around 300-320' or so), I would category it as stable-understable. Should get more understable with some seasoning. I will get some light...

    [MVP] MVP Switch fairway driver

I have three Servos in my bag (cart) 157, 168, 172 and I been using 157 a lot more, ditto with Resistors. I would see the same thing with Switch (and DDs). Thanks for tip, I ll keep eye for the swirls!

I can see onemilemore is pretty much spot on as I used to throw FDs (C and S) and Rivers a lot in the past. And it is very much what I wanted to hear. BTW what weight are you throwing?

    [MVP] MVP Distance Drivers

I checked my Amp with my friend's Star Wraith and it looks like Wraith is about 1.5mm or so wider than Amp. Also checked Wraith with Tern and Sword and all are pretty much similar width. D3 is hair wider (a mm or so) than those three. So it looks like Inertia would be similar to Wraith/Sword...

That would be awesome, esp the soft ones.

    [MVP] MVP Switch fairway driver

Great review onemilemore! This is pretty much what I expected. There are couple of situations at the course which I said to myself I wish I have Switch. I have not gotten mine yet. Probably this Monday.

    [MVP] MVP Distance Drivers

Fraser: 1.5mm diff, not cm :) Wonder if Inertia has similar rim width as Wraith? I threw my friend's new 167 Star Wraith at open field yesterday and it went as far as my Star Tern (Tern probably only 5 to 10 feet further) at around say 350-360 feet or so. I think light Inertia (say 155...

    [MVP] MVP Distance Drivers

Currently throwing Star Tern, VIP Sword and D3 for DD so first three new MVP DDs might replace those. The plus of MVP DDs are wide weight ranges.

Thanks Mike C for vids. Switch is the disc I have been waiting for since Servo came out. Easy annies, easy hyzer-flips, easy flick annies. Looking fwd having one in my hands soon!

    [Axiom] Axiom Envy

Took 4 Envys and 4 Aliases that I just bought recent Friday to the field yesterday. The lightest Envy I have is 165 and the lightest Aliases I have is 168 and it is not much differences to me in distance and stabilities over the entire weight ranges. I was throwing Envys from 282 to 300 feet...
