I have a champ RR that started OS but after only 1 round at buffalo ridge, its so flippy I cant believe how much it loosened up. I tried to hyzer flip it on 18 and it still turned over on me.

I would also bet that since the inner chains are so unified on the X, the outter chains don't slide much. Thus never glazing up. And not sliding as nice as they should.
Vista has Chainstars. They are sweet!!
I have noticed that galvanized baskets will oxidize on the slides, causing them to stick. If they are played on a lot they glaze up and slide really nice.
The Xs at fountain don't slide on the slides. They are rough from oxidation.

The water is glowing green with duck poop, fertilizers, and pesticides, mixed with a little water so they can pump it with trash pumps 300' plus in the air.
What is also funny, is that people walk in that stuff and stand in the mist when the wind is blowing.
I think some basket maintenance, like lube and a visual inspection of each row or chains and slides before a big tournament would help. Other professional sports are thourough on checking and maintaining equipment, why shouldn't disc golf do the same?
Fountain hills park has an abnormal amount...
I noticed at the memorial, from the fountain all the metal around the park is corroded and rough. The light poles handrails and electrical boxes are all rusted and rotted out. I wonder if the chemicals in the water is affecting the metal of the baskets and corrosion is building up so the chains...
