I like to imagine the line I am going to throw drawn on the ground in front of me. Then I keep my head down focused on the line and dont look off of the line until I follow thru. All of the bodily movement should be fucused on keeping the disc on the line thru the entire throw. So no movement...
Initially yes, train the dog to only get the one frisbee. But after a while the dog will learn to obey your command and know when to get it or leave it alone.. These dogs are smarter than you think, it just takes patience and diligence.
I have a Border Collie that has been a frisbee dog from day one. When I satrted taking her to the course it was challenging for a while, but now she is great. The dog will learn to only go after her frisbee or to only get them when commanded. It can be frustrating during the learning process...
That guy probably didn't even play at Selah, nobody that has actually been there and played the course would give it under a 4 unless they have some kind of disorder.
At my mini I would pay the ace pot in full. The td and the players have no control over the weather, it could cause and advantage for some and a disadvantage for others but I believe it is fair because it is an uncontrollable variable. I know if I didn't pay the ace, I would never hear the...
I had the same tearing problem. They were quick to send me a fed ex return label, but I can't get anyone to confirm if I will have my bag fixed in time for am worlds. They seem to be avoiding answering any question about how long I will be without a bag. Now it has been 2 weeks without an...
I think the guy was just trying to help. I am not sure, but I doubt he gets much from the sale of a champ tern at dicks sporting goods. Maybe he has only played a couple times and one of his newbie buddies told him tern are the best.
Tie a string around a rock or ball or something then throw the rock with the string attached over the branch that the disc is in. Now take both ends of the string or rope and shake the branch violently. It should come down if you get the string on the right branch.
I just watched the final 9 coverage of kcwo and it was tough to watch. They kept cutting to the same slow cut scenes and you didn't even get to see half of the players shots. That's the whole point of the coverage is to see the action! Not to mention the announcers didn't seem to know whats...
I have played a couple open tourneys and flopped like an arapaima on the bank of the amazon so I knew I wasn't ready with my 946 rating. If I was in your situation I would stay in open. Even if you go back to am1 and win it won't be fulfilling because you will have taken a step back. If you...
I like playing blind tourneys sometimes, it can be fun. Definitely see as many holes as possible before the round and just stay relaxed. Don't over think, go with your gut instincts on what line to take and go with it. The hardest part is judging distance, especially when elevation is a factor.
