The two Pyros I have (a stock Proton and stock Plasma), both fly pretty similar to a Hornet. Hornet might have a touch more glide, but I wouldn’t say Pyro is more overstable. Most likely just a difference in runs, I have heard a lot of people say their Pyro is beefy. Also I would say Pyro is...
I putted with them most of last year. I found a run that had a nice flex that was between SS and SSS. They also had a nice puddle top. The grip on Nylon is pretty unique, it is very tacky and can sometimes stick to your fingers. Overall I liked putting with them, but switched to some puddle top...
In my experience with the two Diamond Voodoos that I have, they have a bit of overstablilty. I would say they fly more like a premium Wizard with a touch more glide. If you put them on a little anhyzer they really want to fight out. The glide tends to push them farther left than a Wizard.
Latitude announced JohnE McCray as part their Grand team despite him being a 2x Masters World Champion. I think the top level is for MPO and FPO World Champions only.
I just read through all the threads and found nothing saying it was a Wizard bottom. The only thing I found was Gateway originally said that it was “basically a Wizard with a 1/4” of rim depth taken out of the middle”. Which would mean if they used the Wizard bottom as a baseline when designing...
I understand that the Chief was designed to be a shallower Wizard. I was just saying they do not use the the same bottom mold piece. The Warspear uses the Shaman bottom with the Devil Hawk top which makes it deeper.
Cory told me originally they wanted to retool it again because it didn’t come out stable enough but maybe they were trying to make one mold work across various stabilities. You work there so you know better than I do LOL. I agree with Moose, Spirit is the right stability but is just too fast and...
It is really nice to have.
It definitely makes discs perform differently. For example, the Gateway Blade was retooled earlier this year and was supposed to be beefy like a Firebird. I had a 1000+ rated player hand me one to throw on a 350 dogleg left hole. I proceed to throw it dead straight 70...
