Beautiful though a bit pricy and repetitive
The course is on the front nine of the De La Veaga golf course, which provides a gorgeous venue - manicured fairways, huge old-growth pines and redwoods, and gently rolling terrain. It wasn't too hard to find our way. The pro shop has maps, though the...

I played the course on two different days, each time from the long tees. There's a nice variety of terrain: relatively open holes, tight wooded holes, and rolling hills. There are a lot of long drives, but they all require some control. The gaps are generally reasonable and fair. The tee pads...
"Tail marking" is a proposed change in how minis are used to mark. Instead of placing the
mini in front of the thrown disc, you align the tail of the mini with the tail of the
thrown disc. The result is that you have the same lie regardless of the marking method
chosen. The motivation for the...

Gorgeous and fun, a bit pricy
- Beautiful venue, with rolling hills of green grass
- Shiny new red and blue baskets

- Two practice baskets near the putting greens
- A really fun course to play
- Relatively hard to lose a disc (at least until...

A solid, unexceptional course
* The park is a nice space for disc golf, mostly flat (except a couple of dirt mounds) with moderately spaced trees.
*The length brings approach shots into play for all players.
* Good variety of holes: medium/long, left/right, open/tight
* Lots of opportunities...

Dream Course For Anyone Who Loves To Throw
This is a spectacular course designed with high-level players in mind. Not a single hole is easy or boring. After paying $15 to take a ski lift to the top, you play 27 holes down the mountain. Lots of downhill holes, obviously.
- Spectacular holes with...

Nice course that needs some attention
The course is in a great venue for disc golf: a grassy park with moderately spaced trees, and a bit of water. There are multiple pin positions on every hole, and some of the holes (at least when I played) are set up very long. For example, hole 4 was about...

Scrubby with lots of blind holes
Good location near SJSU in the middle of San Jose. Multiple pin positions on every hole.
The terrain is tough: dusty, with scrabbly brush, lots of sock stickers, and some poison oak (the local club has done a good job removing what they can). There were a few...

Eminently Decent
Nice setting. Most of the holes are in a grassy tree-filled park. No crowds - I was the only player on a Monday afternoon. Baskets are in good shape, and the course is well-maintained. Great place to practice controlled drives.
Many of the holes in the trees are similar, and are...
