    Cmroorda's bag

Ok it has been a long while since my last bag update. A few changes have been made to say the least. Lol. Distance drivers: 174 z force (new) overstable for flick drives and headwinds 2 x 174 z forces (seasoned) straight stable for primary backhand distance drivers 172 esp force (seasoned)...

    Only 4 molds

If you could only pick 1 mold in each category (distance driver, fairway driver, mid- range, putter) which mold would you choose? Just want to hear multiple opinions and see what discs seem the most versatile, for the most shots and conditions. My choices: Distance - force Fairway - predator...

    Cmroorda's bag

Ok so finally getting a few rounds in. Bag has been getting simpler as I am down to just 8 molds. The mid line-up is down to just the wasp and comet. Drivers have no changes. Swapped out soft challengers for a couple of firm, chalky feeling team stamp d challengers since the weather is...

    Longest disc

Imo, the elite x nuke is slighty less stable out of the box. Fade at the end of the flight is the same as the esp. I personally prefer the esp for golf distance as its more controllable. The elite x gets a bit squirly as it beats up, but it is the longest disc in my bag when I have room. The...

    Longest disc

Hands down the nuke is the longest disc I've ever thrown. Broke in esp or elite x for max distance and z for stable distance.

    Disks for tomahawks and thumbers?

I have been throwing thumbers/tomahawks for most of my 18 year disc golf career. Best discs are overstable drivers. I have tried about every disc possible. Z predators are my personal choice fo their slow turn and predictable finish. I have used firebirds, whippets, banshees, nuke os, force...

    Cmroorda's bag

Been a while. So after a few winter rounds the last couple of weeks here is how the bag is setting up for the spring. Only real changes have come in the putter line-up and added a wasp to the mids. Distance drivers- 4 nukes(z new, z seasoned, esp seasoned, x flippy) Fairways-3 predators(z new...

    Cmroorda's bag

So came across a pro-d magnet and been practicing all week with it. Remembering why i loved this putter so much when i first started playing. Thinking about putting it back in the bag permanently! May replace the wizards soon. Would like to find a z version, but i know they are hard to come by.

    Cmroorda's bag

I did like the avenger, but just like the predator better. More useful for me. Overhand shots are big part of my game. The preds work great for that and i can still throw them in similar sitiations as the avenger. Once i got the esp seasoned it has been my workhorse driver. As for the pures...

    Cmroorda's bag

    Cmroorda's bag

So after watching some top pros play in des moines over the weekend, i felt some simplification was in order. Drivers: 4 nukes(2-z, 1-esp, 1-x) 4 preds(2-z, 2-esp) 3 xls(z, esp, x) Mids: 1 flx drone 2 z buzzes(1 new, 1 beat) Putters: 1 esp zone 3 pures(1 grip, 2 zero) Down to just 7 molds, and...

    pure(ly) awesome

I added a gripline for driving and to zerolines for putting about 2 months ago. Haven't looked back at the warlocks or ions at all. My putting has been more consistent and my straight/anhyzer approaches have improved as well. Pure is the best putter i've ever owned! Would really like to get my...

    Cmroorda's bag

Ok so the bag is settling in nicely for the summer. The 3 nukes are still the goto distance drivers. The 3 xls still the fairway drivers. Predators still holding down the os duties, with the flippy esp filling that distance gap between my xls and nukes. The drone is back in for os mid duties...

    discraft xl

I have 2 flx xls in my practice stack. I find them to fly almost identical to my esps. However i tend not to throw flx stuff in the golf bag. Just not a good feel for me. Besides high school physics tells me i'm probably losing energy through the flexing of the disc during the throw. Lol.

    discraft xl

I carry 3 xls all the time. One in each plastic elite x, esp, and z. Best and most versatile fairway driver imo. X is nice and flippy right off the shelf. Esp is a longer buzz, and the z has i bit more hss with a solid fade finish. All the z xls i've had, have been solid hss discs for me.
