Does anyone know how to convert Innova's speed rating scale to something that I can relate to? I have about as much chance understanding it as I do the Richter scale. I know that "10" is faster than "8", but how much faster? (And don't say 2, smart guy.) How fast is "8" to begin with?
I much...
We have an old course near us (built in the 70s) that is in severe disrepair. The signs are either faded completely white or are inaccurate since some hole locations have been moved over the years.
A group of us are trying to do what we can to get the course back in shape and we're starting...

Short on Distance, Long on Fun
9 Short holes make it a really quick course to play, I agree with reviews that it's great for beginners--a perfect course to introduce someone new to DG.
The holes with trees are interesting. Hole 1 has has several different types of trees on the right side of...
I’m a frustrated left-handed forehand thrower who started playing Spring 2010 and I need some advice on getting better distance and more consistent throws.
I don’t have the arm strength or athleticism to get decent distance on a backhand throw (LH or RH), so I’ve gravitated to driving LHFH for...

Surprisingly Good
The nine holes and short-drives make this a perfect go-and-throw course if you have a half-hour or so. The mature trees are spaced apart, but still can pose a challenge. The concrete pads are great, but sometimes point the wrong way (see Cons).
The course is in the back 2/3...

On Second Thought...
Most holes were extremely challenging and required more strategy than driving power. If you overthrow, you could end up with a roller that ends up farther away from the hole than the original tee was. It was much better to settle for shorter, controlled shots with good...

18 Holes That Go By Like They Were 9
The best features of this park also could be seen as drawbacks. It is very compact, which makes a round seem to go by very quickly. This is partially due to the fact that it was originally an 11-hole course that was expanded to 18, but using the same amount...

Will Get Better with Time
A nice, open park with a lot of potential. Right now, the drives are mostly wide-open distance throws. This is because the trees at this time are saplings, but as they grow, they will create some challenging approaches, especially on hole 3.
There is some variety in...

Really Good If You Can Avoid the Trees
The terrain is hilly, so you can use that to our advantage on gaining distance. There is a good variety of hole-types, but most are in the 300-foot range, so I think a shorter hole or two would he helpful.
Since it is on the backside of an elementary...

Getting Better and Better
The park has a nice valley that runs through the middle, so you can get some decent air without elevating the discs too much. The wind does come whipping through the valley, though, so be ready for that. Pretty open course, but a few trees here and there to contend...
Where exactly are you referring to? The underside only has the Innova Champion and patent molding imprints. The center only has a straight line marked on it, which I suspect is what's left of the weight marking.
Octoberfriz 2008 Disc?
Found this disc recently. Called the number on it, but owner has showed no interest in getting it back. It's an Innova disc, but does anyone know which one it is?
