Perfect for warming up or getting in a quick round
Great amenities.
Clean well kept course.
Easily navigable.
Varied terrain.
Mostly shorter shots.
A couple holes felt a bit repetitive.
Walking paths close to being in play on 2 holes.
I ran through this course to warm up this morning in...
Thank you all. Real question, on a scale from 1-10, how concerned should I be about poisonous snakes? I will most likely be alone and would hate to die alone in a desert...
The wife will be catching up with old friends for 3 days in NM while I put on my oh no I have to go play by myself for 3 days face. :D The place we're staying at is 30 minutes south of Santa Fe so I'll be sleeping there each night. Was thinking of spending a full day to the south in Albuquerque...
I've played over 300 courses now and can remember 2 of them that were legitimately sketchy. Like, bums and crack heads bothering me sketchy. I no longer carry my side arm with me on a regular basis. I'm also very thankful that I never needed to draw it over the years. But if you know what you're...
My wife and I played Flip, Leviathan, Beauty, Beast, and Goliath all in a single day. If you take the attitude that you may never be there again, and this may be your only chance to see/play them, you may be surprised what you're capable of. Good luck!
That's a shame. If they're going to use that impressive of a name, it should mean something.
If the PDGA is going to sanction events with impressive names that are actually completely meaningless then I should run a C tier in the fall called something outlandish like The Milky Way Galaxy...
Was watching some of the recent Prodigy discs coverage videos yesterday and noticed that half the competitors in the final 9 weren't from that state. This seems odd to me. Why call something state champs if anyone from anywhere can come win it? So that got me thinking that we've got this wrong...
Thanks for your thoughts guys. I'm hoping to get to play 3 great courses a day from next Tuesday through Saturday. Would love to have a round or two guided if you're able, but if not, at least tell us about some good food to hit up in your town.
We will be in Detroit over Memorial day weekend visiting family. I figured while we were in the state, why not spend the rest of the week playing courses before heading home. Already have played Flip, Beauty, Beast, Goliath, and Leviathan.
What other can't miss courses does MI have to offer?

A welcome addition to the Nashville discgolf scene
It really is hard to beat the feeling you get while playing discgolf on a piece of property this beautiful while cruising around in a golf cart. This par 63 course is very challenging at over 8,200' and has a surprising mixture of wooded holes...
After reading through this and other threads about installing carpet tees I have a couple of questions. Looks like the best way to go about it for us based upon the advice I've seen here is:
1.)Pull up old tee material
2.)Level the ground
3.)Crush n run or sand for filler
4.)Tamp down filler...
