Interesting re Relay vs Rythm. Look pretty similar by the numbers but I could believe it even though Relay can boom for a six speed. On that note, my Relay definitely farther than my Hex.

Indeed. And I'm honestly really surprised at how well it does against wind. Way more wind tolerant than I imagined it'd be.

I'm throwing the glitch on a lot of approaches. Kinda surprised at number of comments of "wouldn't use in competitive round". It's like playing catch with a frisbee. If you can do that, you can play catch with basket using it.

Yeah I think with a straight arm it's easier to get a pendulum feel. And less moving parts vs bent arm can also be better for AMs.

FWIW, I like electron Pilot. Is it understable? not really but it's straight / linear and has good forward glide which it sounds like you're after. I throw a Proxy and have had Envy in bag as well and I don't think you'll mind change in feel.
