My home course!
Holes are well laid out and easy to follow. Each tee box has a bird's-eye view to show the distance and layout of the hole as well as which way to the following tee box. All baskets are in great shape. The fairways are regularly mown. There are plenty of bridges and...

Nice course!
Lots of different shots. Course is clean. Very well marked.
The course appears to have a different layout than what is listed in the "links-files". I was trying to go by the map, and the signs got me confused. I think there have been some course changes . . . even so, following...

Cedar Maze
First time on the course and played the short tees for the upcoming CAC (MG1). Very impressed with the variety of shots required, most of which require a higher level of technical skill. Each hole has it's own merits which are unique to that particular hole. Forehand, backhand...
Join us for the 2015 Charlotte Masters Championship! This is the 4th year for the premier age-protected event in Charlotte.
The mandatory players' meeting will be short and sweet and will take place 1 hour prior to tee time, leaving plenty of time to warm up and find your starting hole...

Bring your heavy discs!
Challenging hole layout. Hole 3, short, was a "through the eye of the needle" drive from the tee. The basked was under a big tree, so the shot not only had to be accurate out of the hand, it had to be a laser to reach the basket off the tee.
The next hole of interest...

Worth a visit!
Bhadella's review is spot on.
My thoughts:
After finding #1 tee, everything is very well marked. Nice "tray" signs. I would like to see the bird's eye view of the hole at each tee, but the distances are shown and according to my foot-wheel, each hole is marked pretty close to...

and the wheel goes round and round
Beautiful landscaping with lots of azalea bushes and magnolia trees.
Open fairways are they are clean and well attended.
Baskets are "like-new" condition.
Concrete tee pads. All holes (except hole 6 that we totally missed) are well marked with distance)
Great...

Not a nester... yet
The open holes, meaning not so much junk in the way, were enjoyable and easy to follow from hole to hole. The park is well kempt and actually very nice. There are benches at the tee boxes so you can sit for a spell. The back 9 finished up at the parking lot so you can play...

Wide Open!
Beautiful scenery.
Well manicured fairways.
I think this used to be a ball golf course which would explain its lay.
One hole, I can't remember which one, the tee box is on top of a 30 ft mound. You get to really huk one from here and watching a disc in flight across this course is a...
Craig,
Next time you get a chance to come out to Winget Park, The Ruins, I think it would be nice to meet you and play a round.
Just let me know. I usually play there everyday and at least once on the weekend if I'm not somewhere else playing.

Beauty and the Beast
Absolutely, IMHO, the most beautiful course around Charlotte, N.C.. The entire island is basically a disc golf course, with a playground in the middle and its surrounded by the river. The holes are well laid out with a mix of backhand, forehand and 2 holes where a roller is...

Fun fun fun!
You really get to throw your disc and see what it will actually do. Too many courses kill you with "oops, that tree didn't show me any love AT ALL". This course does have trees, but just enough to make you throw the right disc. Only 9 holes, and you can play through it in 30-45...
