Beginner (mostly) course
My previous home course (since before the baskets went in). Plays very short and very quick. Was designed, intended to be beginner friendly but still provides a *bit* of challenge to experienced players wanting to work on their short game.
Man this review went in...

:)
If you're a LHBH or RHFH thrower-- this is a good course for you.
Innova DISCatcher.
I do not have any real pros or cons to add what hasn't already been said. I really appreciate the fact that Southern finally put a real disc golf course. (An object course had existed years before). It serves...

Just an FYI
I skimmed through the other reviews and I didn't see but if so, I wanted to re-iterate that your $3 fee is good for 24 hours: that is if you were to buy your round at 2:10 PM you can play until 2:10PM the next day.
Other than that, I've nothing to add to the reviews already...

One of the best I've played
Excellent use of terrain.
Absolutely perfect mix of open, wooded, long and short.
Gnats.
Baskets on #8, #10, #16, #17 can sometimes be difficult to see / spot first time 'round.
Love this course. Almost makes me want to move to the area so I can play it more often. #9...

Bring your short game
Practice basket
Driving range
Multiple tees and pin placements
Questionable pin placement on some holes: baskets too close to obstacles or otherwise obstructed.
Chattanooga's first real disc golf course and its a stunner. Very tight and very technical, but still somewhat...

Same designer for Raone Co and Athens?
In Gatlinburg.
Real baskets (i.e. not Innova)
Navigation is a bit tricky.
Descent from tee to pin on 9. . . I don't know about you but I don't like the fear for injury risk on this hole. Is there another way down I should know about?
I really didn't intend...

Good course
Good length variety
Good overall length
Good shot variety
I had the course (and sometimes the entire park) to myself more than a few times.
Navigating the course for the first time (hole 1 to hole 2 and hole 11 to hole 12) can be tricky even after looking at the course map-- well...

A bit suprised.
Mix of long(ish) and short. Variable terrain.
The Tee Pads are way too small. Might as well not have them.
The sign posts not set properly and some had fallen down-- not that they are necessary.
Uninspired design leads to monotonous shot selection: Straight Drive. Putt. Straight...

Suprisingly challenging
All the quintessential elements come together on this course: trees, wind, elevation, and water. And that's only 9 holes.
I regret there is no safe place to lay up on 1-- either make it across or throw a disc that floats
For me, courses are either beginner friendly or...

Jekyl and Hyde
Continually improved.
Clean, well kept park.
Innova DISCatcher
Some terrain on the back 9 (10, 17, 18) a bit technical-- especially if you should make an errant throw (which I *never* do).
A true Jekyl and Hyde course. Front 9 mostly wide open and somewhat beginner friendly. Back...

Just fine
Impressive use of available space and terrain. Beginner friendly. Real baskets.
None really. Some say it's too short or only 9 holes. If you (more experienced players) want (more of) a challenge, you go across the way to Nixa (McCauley Park).
Kind of did not intend to play this...
