Livermore!
Another excellent 9-hole addition to the growing number of East Bay DGCs! I love the variety of terrain and elevation, especially being in a multipurpose sports park. Great signs, and baskets. Tons of parking, and easy to find the 1st tee.
Sure, there are no tee pads, but I never...

Good Will Huntington
I liked the interesting layout that guides you through a variety of terrain from dirt, to the woods, to open fields, and shaded grassy areas. Super laid-back DGC culture is very evident and the friendly locals were more than helpful to keep me on track. Dual tee pads for...

Walden Park
Awesome location and very welcomed addition to DGC-thirsty chuckers in the Bay Area. Neatly located between downtown WC & Pleasant Hill. Good distances as far as 325ft. and as short as 190ft. Dual basket locations per hole. Really nice Hyser windows on #4 and #6. Sidearmer's delight...

No Micke Mouse course!
I love how many trees there are to contend with here! Frustrating at times, but that just makes the good shots feel that much better. Only one other person on the course, and he was super friendly. This course is as cute as the Pudu Pudus at the Zoo onsite.
Flat, and not...

Hogan's Hero
Easily one of my most favorite courses I've played (along with La Mirada, Stafford and Golden Gate). Beautiful scenery, peaceful wild life, and ultra secluded...who could ask for much more? Perfect blend of medium, long, and super long holes, lots of trees & rocks, and some shots...

Hulk's Hogan
This is a beautiful rural and secluded DGC that is quite a workout, but well worth the drive and effort. For the most part it's bombs away, but you better have decent aim on some holes featuring the trees. I loved the elevation changes, and hiking the course was pure bliss. Variety...

Pass the Green!
Super clean & brand new shortish course. Superb signage, tee boxes, and baskets. Perfectly mowed grass & some nice sight lines on tee shots. Very little foot & DG traffic. Cute, original and workable layout for the given space. The middle grassy section of the course makes for a...

Short & shady
Quite a beautiful park with very tall and old trees. Lots of character & variation between holes. Holes are short, so the scores stay fairly low. Plenty of parking. Can get 18 holes done in an hour. Great local support for the course.
Napkin-style TP in the otherwise nice public...

Not so Commons Park
Super-legit course; perhaps best 9-holer in the East Bay Area. Fun and impressive layout & elevation variation with some challenging basket positions. Generous amount of land for 9 holes. Nice tee boxes.
Grass is kinda long right now.
Be sure to park next to the skate park...

Cute & short, but better than expected
The 9-hole disc golf course is in it's own dedicated area to the side of this large park. Despite the shorter distances, I actually found this course to be a fun scoring course. Would be a great wagering course with a buddy. Very clean grounds, with short...

Covell Rocks!
I'm so glad that Trevor took the time and effort to put together such a nice 18-hole layout over otherwise unused land surrounding a very nice greenbelt trail. I'm also glad that I waited until my 25th course to play Covell, otherwise I may not appreciate just how appropriate this...

Sunrise at Sunset
Terrific use of elevation & landscape for such a limited area. The park itself is host to a plethora of activities including roller hockey and sand volleyball. Great intro/gateway course for beginners. Couse layout does a nice job of isolating shots from busier areas.
Can't...

Bringin' it at Brengle
Amazing variety of elevation, distance, wooded/open, and unique looks to each hole. Nice tee pads, and very challenging basket locations.
No distance signage. Holes 12-15 are certainly not there right now, due to tree cutting project. I obviously didn't get to play...

For local practice or hardcore baggers only
It's there & somewhat resembles a small DG course. Zero DG traffic. Good enough teepads & baskets. Irony is that there is enough space for 18 holes, so with a little funding & a much better layout, this place could actually be decent.
Baskets 1, 2, & 8...

Little known course in Los Osos
Well, it's there...and looks like it has been for over 15 years. I'm surprised this never popped up on DGCR before. Good for a quick-fix, lunchtime round, or short game practice.
Of the 7 baskets still there, only 3 or 4 even resemble something usable. Some don't...
