    A new 9-hole course opening near me in Blaine, MN (Lochness Park) will have three tee options from each hole. They claim to be the longest 9 hole course in the 5 state area, with the professional tees playing at an estimated 4,300 feet... which is almost a 500ft average(!) per hole.

    Checked out this course today on my lunch break. Played 6 of the 9 holes. There's some construction going on near 4, 5, and 6, so I didn't play those. Hopefully they'll be done in a couple weeks. Good tees, great signage -- hole distances and colorful hole maps, along with "Next Tee"...
