I've been offered good money a few times. I just smile a say no thanks and watch em grimace and groan as It bounce's off rocks and roots sliding up to the pin. Money can't buy birdies and clutch pars.:)
:D The buzz stamp is almost gone now but still have a guy that will occasionally ask if it's for sell yet. I always tell him I might sell it when it gets broken it good.
I have a disc I bought years ago that for some reason has wasp imprinted on the inner rim and a buzz stamp on top. It may be the best disc i'll ever own.
I aim for a spot just above the center of the pole and pick a link to aim if's lined up with the pole. Why? Because it gives me the biggest margin for error. I gain confidence by knowing I can be off line a little and still be in the meat of the chains.
I'm stickin with the off center pole. Imagine the possibilities if both the top and basket could slide to off center and rotate around to pole. The sweet spot remains the same. But now I have to hit a more specific area within the sweet spot to give myself the best chance to hole out.
Steady Ed had it right in the beginning! I can tell you first hand. Putting is easier now than it was on those original baskets. The first double chain basket I putted on changed my putting style. No longer do I ever think about going thru just pound the putt from 10 feet the same as 25 or 30...
